1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how RiderHub processes personal data when you use the RiderHub mobile app, website, and related services.
RiderHub provides motorcycle community, route, ride recording, voice room, event, group, messaging, and subscription features. Some data is needed to make those features work. Our goal is to handle that data clearly, narrowly, and with meaningful user controls.
2. Age Requirement
RiderHub is for users who are 18 or older. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we may close the account and delete related data.
3. Data We Collect
3.1 Account and Identity Data
- Name, username, email address, profile photo, and account status
- Authentication details such as Apple, Google, or email sign-in
- Terms of Service and Privacy Policy acceptance records
- Account security, ban, warning, and support records
3.2 Profile and Community Data
- Bio, cover photo, city/region, and profile visibility settings
- Motorcycle garage details, brand/model/year, motorcycle photos, and model requests
- Group memberships, event participation, friend status, blocked users, and hidden content
- Posts, comments, routes, events, messages, and reports you create or submit
3.3 Location and Ride Data
RiderHub handles location data differently depending on the feature:
- City/region data you choose for your profile
- Meeting points, route points, and map data used for events and routes
- Ride route, speed, distance, duration, and ride points while ride recording is active
- Live location sharing you explicitly enable in event or ride voice rooms
Group and standalone voice rooms do not share location. Event and ride voice rooms may include optional live location sharing. Ride recording features require the relevant device location permissions; if you turn them off, some features may not work.
3.4 Voice, Messaging, and Notifications
Voice rooms provide real-time audio communication. We do not record or retain voice conversations. Room participation, speaking permission, room management, connection state, and participant details may be processed to provide the feature and keep the platform safe.
Messaging, group chat, and notification features may process message content, read status, notification destination, device notification tokens, and related preferences.
3.5 Device, Analytics, and Error Data
- Device model, operating system, app version, and language preference
- Crash, error, performance, and connection logs
- Product analytics, feature usage, and preference settings
- Additional analytics or experience-improvement data when you explicitly enable it
3.6 Photos, Media, and Files
For profile, cover, and avatar photos, we try to reduce sensitive metadata such as location. For content posts or ride photos, photo location or ride location may be used for route matching when the relevant user-facing setting is enabled.
3.7 Payment and Subscription Data
Subscriptions are processed through the App Store, Google Play, or supported payment providers. We do not store full card numbers. Subscription plan, purchase status, renewal, refund, restore, and entitlement information may be processed to manage your subscription.
4. How We Use Data
We use data to:
- Create accounts, sign users in, secure sessions, and manage authentication
- Provide profile, group, event, route, ride recording, voice room, messaging, and notification features
- Manage subscriptions, plan limits, purchases, and restores
- Enforce Community Guidelines, review reports, and prevent abuse or safety risks

- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
5. Legal Bases
Depending on the applicable law, we may process data based on:
- Performance of a contract
- Compliance with legal obligations
- Our legitimate interests, such as security, debugging, and abuse prevention
- Your consent, especially for optional location sharing, certain analytics settings, or marketing communications
Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it through app settings or device settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing that happened before withdrawal.
6. Sharing Data
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only when needed to provide the service, protect safety, comply with law, or respond to your request.
Data may be shared with:
- Authentication, database, storage, and app infrastructure providers
- Map, location search, voice room, notification, analytics, and crash reporting providers
- App Store, Google Play, subscription, and payment infrastructure providers
- Public authorities or law enforcement when required by valid legal process
- Internal teams and service providers involved in reports, safety, or community enforcement
7. Visibility and User Content
Content you share may be visible to other users depending on your privacy settings and the feature you use. Public posts, public routes, events, group content, profile details, or live location sharing may be visible to specific user groups.
Do not share another person's personal data, license plate, address, phone number, private photos, or location without clear permission.
8. Data Retention
We keep data only as long as needed. Retention depends on the data type:
- Account and profile data is kept while the account is active.
- After an account deletion request, personal data is usually deleted or anonymized within 30 days.
- Ride records, route data, and media may be kept while linked to your account; they are removed when you delete them or delete your account.
- Voice content is not recorded.
- Subscription, payment, accounting, security, fraud, moderation, and legal acceptance records may be kept longer when needed for legal compliance or platform safety.
- Data remaining in backups is deleted or made inaccessible through normal backup cycles.
9. Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data. These include secure connections, access limits, monitoring, authorization controls, and security logs.
No internet transmission or storage method is completely risk-free. Please use a strong password, keep your device secure, and report suspicious activity.
10. International Transfers
Our service providers may operate in different countries. Your data may be transferred to or processed outside your country. When this happens, we work to apply appropriate safeguards under applicable data protection laws.
