RiderHub is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for all users. In compliance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards Policy, we provide transparency regarding our safety practices, community standards, and contact information for safety-related concerns.
This document outlines our safety standards, protective measures, and the steps we take to ensure a secure platform for our community.
2. Age Requirements
RiderHub is strictly an 18+ application. Our service is designed exclusively for adult motorcycle riders and enthusiasts. We do not knowingly collect, process, or permit access to users under the age of 18.
- Minimum Age: Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- Age Verification: We require users to confirm their age during registration
- Automatic Protection: Our systems are configured to prevent access by minors
- Immediate Action: Any account discovered to belong to a minor will be immediately terminated
3. Safety Features and Protective Measures
3.1 User Control and Privacy
- Profile Privacy: Users can control who sees their profile and activity
- Blocking: Users can block other users to prevent all forms of interaction
- Location Control: Location sharing is optional and only active during rides when explicitly enabled
- Voice Room Control: Users have full control over joining and leaving voice rooms
3.2 Content Moderation
- Community Guidelines: Clear rules against harassment, inappropriate content, and unsafe behavior
- Automated Filtering: AI-powered systems detect and flag potentially harmful content
- Human Review: Dedicated moderation team reviews reported content and users
- Swift Action: Violations result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent ban
3.3 Communication Safety
- No Recording: Voice communications are real-time only and never recorded or stored
- Report Feature: Easy-to-access reporting tools in all communication channels
- Encrypted Communication: All data transmissions are encrypted for security
- Group Controls: Ride leaders can remove participants from group activities
4. Reporting and Enforcement
4.1 How to Report Safety Concerns
We provide multiple channels for reporting safety issues:
- In-App Reporting: Report button available on all profiles, messages, and content
- Email: safety@riderhub.app for direct safety concerns
- Response Time: Safety reports are prioritized and reviewed within 24 hours
- Anonymous Reporting: Users can report concerns anonymously
4.2 What to Report
Please report any of the following immediately:
- Underage users or suspected minors on the platform
- Harassment, bullying, or threatening behavior
- Inappropriate or explicit content
- Impersonation or fraudulent accounts
- Sharing of personal information without consent
- Any behavior that violates our Community Guidelines
4.3 Our Response Process
- Immediate Review: Safety team assesses the report within 24 hours
- Investigation: We investigate the reported content or behavior
- Action: Appropriate measures taken (warning, suspension, or ban)
- Follow-up: Reporter is notified of the outcome when appropriate
- Appeal Process: Users can appeal moderation decisions
5. Data Protection for Minors
While RiderHub is an 18+ platform, we maintain strict protocols to ensure no minor's data is collected or retained:
- We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18
- If we discover a minor has provided information, we delete it immediately
- Parents or guardians who discover their child has created an account should contact safety@riderhub.app
- We comply with all applicable child protection regulations including COPPA, GDPR, and KVKK
6. Third-Party Services and Safety
All third-party services integrated into RiderHub (Firebase, LiveKit, Stripe) comply with industry-standard safety and privacy practices:
- Data is transmitted securely using encryption
- Third-party services do not have access to unnecessary user data
- We regularly audit our service providers for security compliance
- Payment information is never stored on our servers
