1. Overview
You can request deletion of your RiderHub account and personal data. Account deletion may be irreversible and may affect profile, ride, route, media, messaging, and community data linked to your account.
2. How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion:
- In the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account
- By email: privacy@riderhub.app
For security, we may ask for additional information to confirm that you own the account.
3. Deletion Timeline
After we verify your request, we usually delete or anonymize personal data within 30 days.
Data remaining in backups is deleted or made inaccessible through normal backup cycles.
4. Data That May Be Deleted
Account deletion usually affects:
- Profile and account data
- Motorcycle garage and photos
- Ride records, routes, and media
- Posts, comments, and user content
- Messaging and notification preferences
- Friend, block, and hidden-content records
Some content may be anonymized rather than deleted where needed to protect other users' experience or meet legal requirements.
5. Data That May Be Retained
The following may be retained longer for legal, security, or platform integrity reasons:
- Subscription, payment, accounting, and refund records
- Terms of Service and Privacy Policy acceptance records
- Security, fraud, abuse, warning, ban, and moderation records
- Records related to legal requests, disputes, or official notices
6. Subscriptions
Deleting your RiderHub account may not automatically cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. You may need to cancel an active subscription separately through your store account.
