KVKK Notice and Consent

1. Introduction

This notice explains how personal data is processed under Turkey's KVKK for users in Türkiye.

RiderHub processes some data because it is necessary to provide the service. Some processing happens only with your consent or optional choices.

3. Data Categories

RiderHub may process:

  • Identity and contact details
  • Account, sign-in, and legal acceptance records
  • Profile, motorcycle garage, and community data
  • Location, route, and ride records
  • Messages, posts, comments, reports, and moderation records
  • Device, notification, error, and usage records
  • Subscription and payment status data

4. Processing Purposes

Your personal data may be processed to:

  • Create accounts, sign users in, and protect account security
  • Provide RiderHub features
  • Operate ride, route, event, group, voice room, and messaging features
  • Manage subscriptions and plan entitlements
  • Protect community safety and review reports
  • Respond to support requests
  • Fix errors and improve service quality
  • Comply with legal obligations

Data may be processed based on contract performance, legal obligation, legitimate interest, establishment or protection of rights, and consent where required.

For example, account and subscription processing is needed to provide the service; security, error reporting, and abuse prevention rely on legitimate interest; optional live location sharing or certain analytics choices may rely on consent.

6. Transfers

Data may be shared as needed with infrastructure, authentication, storage, map, voice room, notification, analytics, crash reporting, payment, subscription, and support providers.

Data may also be shared with public authorities or under valid legal process.

Some providers may be located outside Türkiye. Where this happens, we work to apply appropriate safeguards under applicable law.

Depending on the feature, the following may rely on your consent or optional choice:

  • Live location sharing in event or ride voice rooms
  • Device location permissions required for ride recording
  • Product analytics or experience-improvement preferences
  • Marketing or optional notifications
  • Adding location information to photos or shared content

You can withdraw consent through app settings, device settings, or the relevant feature control.

8. Your KVKK Rights

Under KVKK, you may have the right to:

  • Learn whether your personal data is processed
  • Request information if it has been processed
  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used appropriately
  • Know the third parties to whom data is transferred domestically or abroad
  • Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
  • Request deletion or destruction
  • Request notification of correction or deletion to third parties
  • Object to results produced solely by automated systems
  • Request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing
